Directors of the museum have announced their intention to rebuild. The boats are still sailing. The schooners set sail at 4 p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Charters are available for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries or other events.

GULF ISLANDS NATIONAL SEASHORE
The Seashore stretches 160 miles from Cat Island in Mississippi to the eastern tip of Santa Rosa Island in Florida. There are snowy-white beaches, sparkling blue waters, fertile coastal marshes, and dense maritime forests. Visitors can explore 19th century forts, enjoy shaded picnic areas, hike on winding nature trails, and primitive camp on Perdido Key and all Mississippi barrier islands except Cat and West Ship Islands. In addition, Horn and Petit Bois Islands located in Mississippi are federally designated wilderness areas. Nature, history, and recreational opportunities abound in this national treasure.

Bacaran Bay Casino Resort: $500 million project with anticipated completion in the fall of 2008. 638 room all suite hotel; 432 one and two bedroom condominiums. Arnold Palmer signature 18-hole championship golf course. 40 lane bowling alley and six movie theaters.

Bayview Ventures LLC. New development on the Biloxi Back Bay area. Plans call for 65.000 square feet of gaming space, 1400 slot machines, 45 table games and seven poker tables.

The Broadwater: $1 billion project. 2 casinos, 3,375 condo units, 1,900 hotel rooms, 18-hole golf course, convention space, retail entertainment space, gaming floor and a marina.

Diamondhead Casino Corp: Proposal would cover a minimum of 40 acres on north shore of Bay St Louis near Diamondhead.

Harrah’s Entertainment. Soon to announce plans to expand the former Casino Magic property.

Isle of Capri: Announced plans for a $250/$300 million development in western Harrison county with a minimum of 500 rooms.

Margaritaville Casino & Resort: Harrah’s Entertainment and singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffet have unveiled plans for a $700 million plus investment on Casino Row in Biloxi. This is expected to be the first phase of a development that may exceed $1 billion. Construction of Margaritaville has a target completion date of Spring 2010.

Royal D’Iberville Casino and Hotel: Plans include an open-air market underneath elevated restaurants and shops. Boardwalk district would offer scenic views of an 80-slip marina and have condominium towers in the back. Waterfront towers would each have 99 units.

West D’Iberville Development LLC: $250 million project located on the 46 acre site formerly occupied by Grand Casino and Casino Magic south of US90 in Biloxi, will include 1,500 /2,000 slots, 50/60 table games,retail and convention space, hotel rooms and pool deck area with spa, cabanas, bar and tropical landscaping.
